Since 2014, our team has been rescuing chickens from the Kaporos ritual, offering compassion to birds who have known little of it. Each year, we encounter chickens packed into crowded crates, exposed to the elements, often hungry, thirsty, injured, and terrified. Many arrive in desperate need of immediate care.
